The oldest of all our buildings, Decatur St Studios inhabits a 1898 brick building that once housed Diogenes Brewing Co, which operated between 1898 and 1920. Since then, it has housed many creative industries before Rockella Space took it over in 2020. This old building is filled with light and original industrial features, and fast becoming a creative hub for music, food, and art.

Building Features

Decatur Studios is located in a 20,000 sq ft building, housing 10 uniquely designed light filled, completely private studios, ranging from 400sqft to 2000 sq ft. Decatur Studios also boasts high ceilings, offering private studios with tonnes of natural light.

Decatur Studios hosts music producers, fine artists, designers and photographers. The building stands in a community of local restaurants, artisanal shops and venues, giving our creatives a host of networking opportunities.

Pan Pizzeria occupies the ground floor of the building creating the best wood fired pizza this side of Wyckoff and hosts Jazz Thursdays with happy hour and $6 Margarita Pizzas you won’t want to miss! They also serve up an amazing Brunch on the weekends.

Music venue H0lo occupies the basement of Decatur St Studios and hosts some of the biggest dance parties in the hood.

Rockella offers a variety of studio sizes with unique features such as skylights, designed to fit the aesthetic and budget of most creative artistic pursuits. We strongly encourage applicants to schedule an in-person site visit to view our spaces.

Leasing options

We have one year leases for long term contracts that will have you secure a committed space and home for your creative adventure. Hourly and daily rentals are available for short term, project-based activities. All applications require a credit check that is at the expense of the applicant.
