September 26, 2026 | 6 PM Lecture + 7 PM Open Studio
Rockella Space welcomes Uncensored New York to One Eyed Studios for Modern Myth / Digital Decay, an evening of lecture, conversation and open studio developed as part of their RRASP Partner Residency.
Free and open to the public, the event invites visitors to engage with the ideas and creative processes taking shape inside the residency studio.

An Evening of Modern Mythology and Digital Culture
The evening begins at 6 PM with a lecture by artist Joslyn Crocco, exploring the intersections of mythology, memory and digital culture.
Drawing on subjects ranging from Dolly Parton and the Library of Alexandria to September 11 and the Memphis Pyramid, Crocco considers how cultural narratives are constructed, preserved and transformed over time.
At 7 PM, visitors are invited into Uncensored New York’s residency studio for an open studio.
The evening offers an opportunity to experience the evolving creative environment developed by artists Samantha Sutcliffe and Joslyn Crocco, encounter works in progress and engage in conversation about the ideas informing their practice.
Uncensored New York at One Eyed Studios
Founded in 2021 by Samantha Sutcliffe and Johnny Scuotto, Uncensored New York is an artist-run movement working across visual art, music, film and performance.
Through exhibitions, lectures, workshops and collaborative projects, the organisation creates opportunities for artists and audiences to engage with experimental work and challenging ideas.
During their September–October residency at One Eyed Studios, Uncensored New York is developing an evolving environment of artworks, performances and public conversations exploring ritual, decay, archive and form.
Modern Myth / Digital Decay is the first in a series of public programs developed during their residency.
