Join the Rockella Community during Ridgewood Open Studios 2026!

Are you an artist based in Ridgewood, Queens, or the surrounding areas without a studio but wanting to participate in Ridgewood Open Studios 2026 (May 8–10)?

Rockella Space is offering a limited number of short-term pop-up studio rentals at One Eyed Studios, giving local artists the chance to present their work inside a professional studio environment during one of the neighborhood’s most active art weekends.

This is a unique opportunity to step into a dedicated creative space, connect with the local community, and be part of the energy that Ridgewood Open Studios brings to the area each year.

A Studio for the Weekend

Selected artists will receive a private studio (150–300 sq ft) for a total of 5 days, allowing time to install, present work during the Open Studios weekend, and deinstall afterward.

Schedule:

Install: Thursday, May 7 + Friday, May 8
Open Studios Hours:
Friday: 6–9pm
Saturday: 1–6pm
Sunday: 1–6pm

Artists will have 24-hour access to their studio once keys are issued.

What’s Included & Pricing

Private studio (150–300 sq ft, based on availability)

5 days of access (install + event)

24-hour access during the rental period

Listing in Rockella’s Open Studios marketing

Electricity + WiFi

Participation within a building active during Ridgewood Open Studios

PRICING:

$500 total (full period)

$200 refundable deposit (returned after inspection)

Important Details

Studios are provided empty and as-is:

No furniture included

Standard overhead lighting only

No move-in or move-out assistance

To ensure a safe and respectful environment:

No hazardous materials

No excessive dust, fumes, or loud machinery

Studios must be returned in their original condition

Artists are responsible for repairing any wall damage

Artists are responsible for their own work and materials.
Rockella Space is not liable for any damage, loss, or theft.
