FRANKLIN FURNACE

Franklin Furnace awards grants annually to early career artists selected by peer panel review to enable them to produce major performance artworks in New York City. Fund grants range between $2,000 and $10,000 based on the peer review panel allocation of funding received by Franklin Furnace.

ARTADIA NEW YORK

The Artadia Awards provide financial support, exposure and recognition to a contemporary visual artist, who makes artwork for presentation in a contemporary art context: museums, galleries, arts non-profits, the public art realm, etc. The 15K awards are unrestricted, allowing artists to use the funds in any way they choose.

SNUG HARBOR CULTURAL CENTER & BOTANICAL GARDEN

Snug Harbor Cultural Center & Botanical Garden is excited to announce its annual open call for the Performing Arts Salon Saturdays (PASS) artist residency and performance program. Snug Harbor is soliciting applications to select four (4) residencies* that will support the creation and development of new works in dance, music, theater, and multi-disciplinary performance.

MTA NEW YORK CITY TRANSIT - JAMAICA BUS DEPOT, QUEENS

MTA Arts & Design seeks images of artists’ previous work to review in consideration for a new permanent Percent for Art project, in conjunction with the construction of a new Jamaica Bus Depot in Jamaica, Queens, to be fabricated in durable materials, such as glass and mosaic.

The Latinx Project accepts exhibition proposals from curators, scholars, & artists annually to develop an exhibition exploring issues of relevance to our evolving community. A tentative budget totaling up to $15,000 for proposals on all topics/themes of relevance and impact on the Lantix community.

NYFA: ANNONYMOUS WAS A WOMAN ENVIRONMENTAL ART GRANT

The Anonymous Was A Woman Environmental Art Grants (AWAW EAG) will distribute a total of $300,000 in funding—up to $20,000 per project—to support environmental art projects led by women-identifying artists in the United States and U.S. Territories.

SUNDANCE DOCUMENTARY FUND GRANT

The Sundance Institute Documentary Fund supports the work of nonfiction filmmakers from around the globe. In a changing media landscape, the fund has been a stable, progressive force in supporting work that has expressed the world in creative, complex, beautiful, and provocative ways, and has created real cultural and social impact around some of the most pressing issues of our time.

THE ABBEY MURAL PRIZE

The National Academy of Design is soliciting proposals for the 2023 Abbey Mural Prize for projects that center on creating or restoring public murals by exceptional artists and designers.

THE BURKE PRIZE

The Burke Prize is a biannual contemporary art prize for a new generation of artists working in a world of expanded media with a foundation in glass, fiber, clay, metal, or wood. The Burke Prize winner receives an unrestricted award of $50,000.
