THE LAUNDROMAT PROJECT

Create & Connect is a community micro-grant fund that the Laundromat Project launched in 2020. The Fund seeds and supports the creative ideas and civic actions of artists, cultural practitioners, community builders, organizers, and makers in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. They will provide $1000 grants towards each funded project, for a total of up to 20 projects.

ART IN ODD PLACES

Art in Odd Places (AiOP) 2023: DRESS scheduled for October 13-15, 2023, and curated by Brooklyn-based artist Gretchen Vitamvas, invites artists who are using dress as a medium and interested in using 14th Street as a runway to present, walk, and pose, to apply for its eighteenth annual outdoor public visual and performance art festival taking place along 14th Street in Manhattan.

A.I.R GALLERY

A.I.R. Gallery invites curators to submit proposals for our next CURRENTS exhibition, which will take place from January 6 to February 4, 2024. CURRENTS began in 2010 as a timely and innovative biennial exhibition program addressing contemporary issues that warrant expanded critical attention in the art world.

LEONORE MARSHALL POETRY PRIZE

The Lenore Marshall Poetry Prize is a $25,000 award that recognizes the most outstanding book of poetry published in the United States in the previous calendar year. The prize includes a ten-day residency at Glen Hollow in Naples, New York, and the distribution of the winning book to hundreds of Academy of American Poets members.

THE HOPPER PRIZE

The Hopper Prize is accepting entries for Spring 2023 artist grants. Grant submissions will be juried by Emily Edwards, Assistant Curator, Dallas Contemporary, and Inês Costa, Curator, Focal Point Gallery, Southend-on-Sea. Our open call provides you with a direct path to get your work in front of these forward-thinking exhibition makers.

ANDY WARHOL FOUNDATION ARTS WRITERS GRANT

The Andy Warhol Foundation Arts Writers Grant supports emerging and established writers who write about contemporary visual art. Ranging from $15,000 to $50,000 in three categories—articles, books, and short-form writing—the grants support projects addressing both general and specialized art audiences, from short reviews for magazines and newspapers to in-depth scholarly studies.

RAUSCHENBERG MEDICAL EMERGENCY GRANT

New York Foundation for the Arts Rauschenberg Medical Emergency Grant program provides one-time grants of up to $5,000 for recent unexpected medical, dental, and mental health emergencies to artists in financial need who are creating in the visual arts, film/video/electronic/digital arts, and choreography.

FEMINIST SPACES

Feminist Spaces is accepting literary and visual works embodying the theme of ‘her body’ for its Summer 2023 publication.

ELIZA MOORE FELLOWSHIP

The Eliza Moore Fellowship for Artistic Excellence is awarded annually to one outstanding, early-career artist who is developing new works that address plants, gardens, or landscapes in the broad sense.  This award is open to visual artists, literary artists, dancers, and musicians.
