Award For Jewish Artists
Established in 1980, the Anolic Family Awards have been given to Jewish artists with a wide array of talents and goals, who have used these awards as an opportunity to further their artistic practice, and cultural knowledge and to advance their careers.

CALL FOR ART
The Strother School of Radical Attention, a Brooklyn-based non-profit, is accepting submissions for a contest featuring poster artworks that advance the work of “Attention Activism.” Three winning artists will each receive a single cash prize of $500.

DESIGN GRANT
The Independent Projects grant program is a partnership between the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) and the Architectural League of New York, awarding $10,000 grants for New York State-based individuals and teams to explore a design topic through creation or research.

CALL FOR ZINES & PHOTOBOOK
The Booooooom Art & Photo Book Award teams up with Bookmobile to offer the chance to have your work published as a standalone book for free. Nine projects will be selected—each by a different artist, illustrator, or photographer—at zero cost to the individual.

The Vilcek Foundation is now hosting an open call for applications for the 2025 Vilcek Prizes for Creative Promise in Visual Arts and 2025 Vilcek Prizes for Creative Promise in Curatorial Work. In 2025, the Vilcek Foundation will award three prizes of $50,000 each to immigrant artists living and working in the United States.

PUBLIC ART COMMISSION
The New York City Department of Cultural Affairs (DCLA) Percent for Art program, in conjunction with the New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC), is issuing this Request for Expressions of Interest (RFEI) for a qualified artist or artist team to serve as a design partner to create permanent public artwork serving as the Chinatown Welcome Gateway as part of the Chinatown Connections initiative.

POETRY PRIZE
The University of Akron Press offers the Akron Poetry Prize, a competition open to all poets writing in English. The winning poet receives $1,500 and publication of their book as part of the Akron Series in Poetry.

COMMISSION
Presented by the Dumbo Improvement District in partnership with Brooklyn Arts Council, the Six Foot Platform is an experimental art & performance program presenting work by Brooklyn-based artists, working in all mediums, on a 6×6 platform at the intersection of Washington and Water Streets. There is a $1,250 honorarium included.

The Paul Robeson Galleries at Rutgers University in Newark is curating an exhibition titled, “Wasted”. Curated By Professor Kevin Lyons and Gallery Director Anonda Bell, this exhibition will feature artworks that address the subject of plastic.

The NYC Department of Cultural Affairs (DCLA) is seeking four artists to join its Public Artists in Residence (PAIR) program in 2025. An artist will be placed in residence with each of the following City agencies: the Office of Housing Recovery Operations, Small Business Services, and the Mayor’s Public Engagement Unit.
