Mark your calendars and clear your weekend—Rockella Open Studios 2025 is here and bigger than ever. From Friday, May 16 through Sunday, May 18, Rockella Space invites the public into the creative homes of over 250 working artists across One Eyed Studios in Ridgewood, Queens, and Brown Bears Studios in Brownsville, Brooklyn.

This year’s event at One Eyed Studios coincides with the highly anticipated Ridgewood Open Studios, creating an unmissable weekend of art, community, and discovery.

After a stunning debut, under the pale blue returns with Undercurrent—a bold, sweeping exhibition of painting, sculpture, and photography by fifteen women and non-binary artists based in New York.

This expansive show explores themes of:

• Domesticity

• Objectification of the female form

• Mysticism

• Bodily abstraction

• Material experimentation

Rooted in their mission to amplify underrepresented voices, Under The Pale Blue brings together a dynamic roster of artists in a show that’s both thought-provoking and fiercely beautiful.

Opening night will include:

• Complimentary drinks

• Live music

• Gallery tours + conversation

• Access to all participating artist studios

Throughout the weekend, visitors are encouraged to wander the studios, chat with artists, and experience the process behind the work. Special programming—like artist talks and a curator-led walkthrough—will be announced soon!

Located in a historic five-story manufacturing building, Brown Bears Studios oozes old-school Brooklyn charm and the raw energy of a community that keeps the spirit of the New York art world alive. With over 100 studios of painters, sculptors, and makers, this building hums with creativity.
