Features
One Eyed Studios is located in a 55,000 sq ft building, housing 190 uniquely designed light filled, completely private studios, ranging from 100sqft to 400sqft. One Eyed StudiosOur studios define a new standard in creative spaces within the artistic industry, accommodating the solo creative worker to a team of creative thinkers, in the most beautifully designed studios in Brooklyn.
One Eyed Studios offers specially designed skylights in studios with high ceilings, offering private studios with tonnes of natural light. These uniquely designed skylights pierce through from the second floor to the first floor, guaranteeing natural daylight, no matter where your studio is located in the building.
Some of the old industrial charm is interwoven in the building design with studios highlighting the original industrial hardwood floorboards, polished to a beautiful finish, or featuring polished concrete for a contemporary look. Exposed brick and some period features such as pipes and ceiling beams run throughout the building, adding an allure to our spaces and an industrial aesthetic that delights all.
Building History
Built in 1930 and with a long history of housing creative industries such as fabric producers for major department stores like Macy’s, One Eyed Studios sits on the culturally diverse border of Bushwick and Ridgewood–charmingly coined Ridgewick–serving a diverse community of traditional and contemporary. Our occupants are old neighbours who range in creative fields from music production to graphic design and new neighbours creating artisan body products and world class tattoo design.
