Join us on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at One Eyed Studios in Ridgewood, Queens for Love is a Verb Vol. 2, a community-driven Valentine-making party in collaboration with From Our Hands, Remake, Climate Cafe NYC, Synergy Social, and Rosie’s Magazines.

We will gather for an afternoon of grounding in our collective presence with a brief meditation, a roundtable discussion on our skills, goals, and individual and collective Roles for Collective Liberation as outlined by The Slow Factory, moving into skill-share “speed-dating” to connect across our abilities and goals for the future and conclude with valentine making using all sustainable and repurposed materials, mingling, and a bake sale.

Synergy Social is a collective of artists, change-makers, and healers who believe in the power of community and the importance of embracing play and joy. Synergy Social curates experiences to cultivate joy, embracing the idea that one can give back while having fun, and the world gets better when we come together!
Rosie’s Magazines is a personal collection of fashion magazines from vintage archivist and designer, Rosie Mae. She collects rare issues from various decades and sources from all over the world. Rosie’s Magazines curates printed matter for events, exhibits, collage workshops, and more.
