Rockella was conceived in 2017 out of a personal need for an affordable studio space and a dream of building out the perfect, light-filled studio complex. Today, we occupy three factory buildings in Brooklyn and Queens, offering over 300 spaces that all retain an industrial aesthetic, old-world charm, and architectural hints to the history of the creative lives they once hosted.
Attracting a diverse community of aspiring contemporary fine artists, entrepreneurs, freelancers, small businesses, and start-ups with a creative edge, our self-contained, sun-filled private workspaces give our tenants the much needed space, privacy, and inspiration to focus on shaping their success into their own vision.
Moreover, The beautifully designed common areas offer opportunities for collaboration and experimentation amongst our creative tenants. At Rockella, our mission is to develop a community in which the cross-pollinating of ideas and mutual dialogue is encouraged!
